Process: Expert review, competitor analysis, short-term and long term design proposals, supply of refined responsive UI modules, working closely with the development team to iterate designs ‘in-browser’.

Working with the business, product, brand and technology teams to refine the design of the UI and meet the aspirations of the business within a tight ‘go-live’ deadline.

An expert review of the design to-date combined with competitor analysis, helped to facilitate conversations with the business, product, brand and development leaders. This helped to reveal their ambitions for the site and enabled draft design recommendations for the short term (quick-wins) and longer term options for improving the UI and content/functionality.

It was important to create visual balance between the company branding (Grainger plc) and the development branding (Clippers Quay) to establish the basis of a template for future development marketing sites.
